🎉 Strathroy-Caradoc's Ricco Foods Canada Day Celebration – June 29th! 🎉
After a few years of anticipation, we are thrilled to announce that the Strathroy Canada Day celebration is BACK and better than ever! Join us on June 29th at the Gemini Sportsplex for an unforgettable evening of fun, community spirit, and excitement as we celebrate Canada’s birthday in style!
Doors open at 6:00 PM, so come early to enjoy everything we have to offer! This year’s event will feature a fantastic line-up, including live music, a spectacular car show, and the showstopper of the night – an incredible drone and fireworks display by Pixelsky, the same Canadian company that wowed audiences at the Super Bowl! Prepare to be amazed as the skies above Strathroy light up with brilliant colors and dazzling designs!
The local Lions Club will be serving up delicious food, and for the adults, we’ve partnered with The Rusty Wrench Brewery to bring you the finest local brews to enjoy while you soak in the atmosphere. Best of all, admission is FREE! Donations are encouraged at the gates.
Parking is $10 for the event, and we’ve got plenty of space for everyone. So bring your family, friends, and neighbors

🎉 So why June 29 instead of July 1? 🎉
Simple — when Pixel Sky (yep, the proudly Canadian crew behind the LA Super Bowl drone show) offered us a 40% discount for June 29, we jumped on it. That savings means more funds for local school lunch and breakfast programs — something our community really needs right now.
No disrespect to July 1. We still honour Canada, its history, and the sacrifices behind it — we’re just celebrating a little early and for a great cause.

Also we aim to generate enough funds to enable a donation to support a good cause in our community. Unfortunately there is an overwhelming need in our community for breakfast and lunch programs for our children in the Strathroy schools, and we aim to support that cause in 2025.
