This year our drone and fireworks show will be put on by Pixel Skyanimations, who put on the LA Superbowl show and it will include 250 drones as well as an epic firework show to light up the sky. The last time this event ran, over 8000 people attended so it is sure to be a big day!
Our goal with this event is to bring together the community by involving service groups, volunteers, the municipality and the local businesses of Strathroy. We want the day to educate the youth about the importance of Canada Day as well as be an exciting evening of food, drink and activities.
Also we aim to generate enough funds to enable a donation to support a good cause in our community. Unfortunately there is an overwhelming need in our community for breakfast and lunch programs for our children in the Strathroy schools, and we aim to support that cause in 2025.
