Strathroy-Caradoc "Almost Canada Day: Committee Inc celebrates Canada Day by uniting our community’s diverse cultures. We bring residents, service clubs, and local businesses together to honour Canada’s multicultural identity and support local charitable causes.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, so come early to enjoy everything we have to offer! This year’s event will feature a fantastic line-up, including live music and again, the showstopper of the night – an incredible drone and fireworks display by Pixelsky, the same Canadian company that wowed audiences at the Super Bowl! Prepare to be amazed as the skies above Strathroy light up with brilliant colors and dazzling designs!

All proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the VON Lunch and Breakfast programs in local schools, helping to ensure no child goes without a nutritious meal.

🎉 So why June 29 instead of July 1? 🎉
Simple — when Pixel Sky (yep, the proudly Canadian crew behind the LA Super Bowl drone show) offered us a 40% discount for June 29, we jumped on it. That savings means more funds for local school lunch and breakfast programs — something our community really needs right now.
No disrespect to July 1. We still honour Canada, its history, and the sacrifices behind it — we’re just celebrating a little early and for a great cause.

Also we aim to generate enough funds to enable a donation to support a good cause in our community. Unfortunately there is an overwhelming need in our community for breakfast and lunch programs for our children in the Strathroy schools, and we aim to support that cause in 2025.
